Extends the deadline for filing pre-trial motions in criminal cases to 45 days after arraignment or the filing of a proper certificate of compliance by the prosecution, whichever occurs later

Adds disclosure of grand jury testimony (paragraph (b) of section 245.20) to the list of materials that trigger an extended 45-day motion filing period

Current law only allows 45 days from arraignment; this change ensures defendants have adequate time to review discovery materials before filing motions

Takes effect 90 days after becoming law
