Adds image-guided breast biopsies to the list of breast cancer screening and diagnostic procedures that health insurance policies must cover when recommended by a physician

Amends three sections of the insurance law (sections 3216, 3221, and 4303) to ensure coverage applies across individual policies, group policies, and health maintenance organizations

Coverage applies only when procedures follow nationally recognized clinical practice guidelines developed by independent organizations using evidence-based, transparent methodologies

Takes effect January 1, 2026, applying to all policies issued, renewed, modified, altered, or amended on or after that date
