Allows individuals convicted of unlawful cannabis possession (section 222.25 of penal law) to petition for expungement of all related records after 2 years from conviction date

Eligibility requires no prior or subsequent offenses in any jurisdiction, completion of probation/parole/supervised release, and payment of all fines and restitution

Petitions must be filed with the supreme court or county court in the county of conviction and served on the district attorney, state police, local police, and the sentencing judge

Courts may grant expungement orders within 90 days if no objections are filed by law enforcement or required agencies, directing destruction of all arrest, detention, conviction, and sentencing records

Applies to both past convictions and future convictions entered after the law takes effect
