Establishes aggravated assault on a child protective services worker (Class B felony) when serious physical injury is caused using a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument

Creates the crime of menacing a child protective services worker (Class D felony) for displaying a deadly weapon, knife, or firearm to place a CPS worker in reasonable fear of injury or death while performing official duties

Applies specifically to employees of local social services districts directly involved in investigating or responding to alleged child abuse or neglect
