Establishes that candidates receiving a majority of weighted votes become the party's designated candidate, while those receiving 25% or more may demand their name appear on the primary ballot

Creates a coordinated process for multi-county electoral districts where county committees separately vote and file certified results with the State Board of Elections, which then calculates the weighted vote totals

Preserves the right of enrolled party members to make designations by petition and maintains existing caucus procedures for village and town elections
