Authorizes Lt. Thomas Cleere of the Seneca Falls Police Department to transfer from the section 375-i retirement plan to the more favorable 20-year retirement plan under section 384-d of the Retirement and Social Security Law

Requires the Town of Seneca Falls to elect to assume the additional costs by filing a resolution with the state comptroller within 180 days, certifying that Cleere's original enrollment in the wrong plan was not due to his own negligence

Cleere must file a request with the state comptroller within one year of the act's effective date to be covered under the new plan

Town of Seneca Falls bears all past service costs, estimated at approximately $188,000 as a one-time payment or $24,000 annually if amortized over 10 years

Annual contributions for the Town are expected to increase by approximately $13,000 for fiscal year ending March 31, 2026
