Expands the jurisdiction of small claims courts to issue information subpoenas that can be served anywhere in New York State, overriding existing geographic limitations

Applies to unsatisfied judgments in small claims courts across four court systems: New York City Civil Court, Uniform City Court, Uniform District Court, and Uniform Justice Court

Small claims clerks must issue these statewide information subpoenas upon request at nominal cost and provide assistance with their preparation and use

Courts retain the same contempt powers as the Supreme Court to punish violations of information subpoenas

Takes effect 90 days after becoming law
