Bars health care plans from refusing to approve network participation applications from previously board-certified physicians solely because they no longer hold current board certification

Prohibits insurers offering managed care products from denying in-network participation to physicians solely based on lapsed board certification when the physician was previously certified

Takes effect immediately upon passage
