Amends the 1991 law establishing the Mamaroneck Public Library District in Westchester County to change the board of trustees from a fixed eleven members to a flexible range of no less than five and no more than fifteen members

Board size will now be prescribed by section 260 of the education law, giving the library district flexibility in determining the appropriate number of trustees

Trustees continue to serve three-year terms, with a maximum of three consecutive terms allowed

Qualified voters of the district remain eligible for election to the board, with elections held annually to fill vacancies

Act takes effect immediately upon passage
