Authorizes the town of Huntington assessor in Suffolk County to accept a late application from Centerport Fire District for exemption from school and real property taxes for the 2022-2023 assessment roll

Applies to property located at 2 State Route 25A in Huntington (tax map district 0400, section 044.00, block 03.00, lot 020.000)

Requires the application to be reviewed as if it had been filed by the original taxable status date deadline

Allows the assessor, with approval from the Huntington town governing board, to grant the exemption and make corrections to the assessment roll

Permits refund of taxes, fines, and penalties already paid, and cancellation of any unpaid taxes, fines, penalties, interest, or tax liens at the discretion of the applicable governing body
