Designates employees of the village court of Pleasantville serving as security officers as peace officers under New York Criminal Procedure Law

Grants these security officers limited peace officer powers: making warrantless arrests for offenses committed in their presence, using physical force in making arrests, and using deadly physical force in defense of themselves or others

Prohibits these officers from carrying, possessing, repairing, or disposing of firearms unless they obtain the appropriate license under Penal Law section 400.00

Requires employees who are not already police or peace officers to complete mandatory peace officer training under section 2.30 of the Criminal Procedure Law

Takes effect immediately upon passage
