Expands the definition of business records admissible in grand jury proceedings to include any business record as defined in CPLR Rule 4518 generated by a business entity, rather than limiting it to specific categories

Removes the previous narrow restrictions that only allowed business records relating to communications equipment/services (phone, internet) and financial transactions at banks, insurance companies, and brokerages

Requires redaction of material outside the scope of the business record as regularly generated, or a limiting instruction to the grand jury not to consider such additional material

Applies immediately upon enactment
