Adds COVID-19 (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2) to the list of required immunizations that insurance policies must cover, alongside existing vaccines for diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio, measles, rubella, mumps, haemophilus influenzae type b, and hepatitis b

Amends multiple sections of the insurance law (sections 3216, 3221, and 4303) to mandate coverage of COVID-19 vaccines by individual and group health insurance policies and health maintenance organizations

Amends the social services law to require Medicaid coverage of COVID-19 vaccinations administered by certified pharmacists, expanding the list of specified vaccinations that must be covered

Vaccines must meet standards approved by the United States Public Health Service for biological products

Takes effect on January 1st following enactment and applies to insurance contracts entered into, delivered, amended, or modified on or after that date
