Adds the town of Huntington to the list of municipalities whose uniformed fire marshal's office members are designated as peace officers under Criminal Procedure Law Section 2.10

Huntington fire marshals join Southampton and Riverhead fire marshals in receiving peace officer status when performing duties related to fires, fire extinguishment, and fire perils

Fire marshals granted peace officer status are explicitly prohibited from carrying, possessing, repairing, or disposing of firearms unless they obtain the appropriate license under Penal Law Section 400.00

Takes effect immediately upon passage
