Requires the Justice Center to forward substantiated reports of abuse or neglect to the Office of the Medicaid Inspector General only after such reports are no longer subject to amendment or appeal under Section 494

Applies to abuse or neglect occurring in facilities or provider agencies receiving medical assistance (Medicaid)

Changes the referral standard from reports that "may be relevant to an investigation of unacceptable practices" to reports that may result in "possible exclusion or other sanction" by the Medicaid Inspector General

Establishes that the determination of which cases to forward will be made in consultation with the Office of the Medicaid Inspector General

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
