Prohibits news media employers from training AI systems on workers' content without notice, consent, and opportunity to negotiate compensation, and bars retaliation against workers who decline consent

Protects news media workers from discharge, displacement, reduced hours, wage cuts, or transfer of duties resulting from AI implementation, and preserves existing collective bargaining agreements

Requires employers of journalists to establish safeguards protecting confidential sources and materials from access by AI technologies
