Establishes aggravated harassment of an elected official (class E felony) covering threats of physical harm via any communication method, harassment with no legitimate purpose, physical contact with intent to harass, and criminal trespass targeting officials

Defines "elected official" broadly to include state officials and those elected at city, county, town, village levels, as well as members of town boards, library boards, and school boards

Explicitly protects constituent communications, stating the stalking provision shall not restrict communication with an elected official relating to their official duties
