Expands criminal impersonation in the first degree to include pretending to be a firefighter or wearing/displaying firefighter uniforms, badges, or insignia without authority

Creates a new offense when someone impersonates a firefighter and obstructs firefighters, police officers, or peace officers during emergencies involving fire, explosion, threat of explosion, or toxic fumes/gases

Maintains existing provisions covering impersonation of police officers and federal law enforcement officers who commit or attempt felonies during the impersonation

Retains the existing offense of impersonating a licensed physician to communicate false oral prescriptions to pharmacists

Criminal impersonation in the first degree remains a class E felony, with the act taking effect 90 days after becoming law
