Amends the elder law to require the Office for the Aging to publish a "Guide to Actions When Someone Close Dies" within one year of the section's effective date, available on the office's website with an optional paper format

Requires the guide to cover economic security topics (pensions, social security, life insurance, health insurance, death benefits) and must reference Department of Taxation and Finance resources regarding estate taxes

Removes the requirement to include average funeral costs by region, instead directing users to the Department of Health's bureau of funeral directing resources

Eliminates the mandatory special advisory committee, replacing it with optional consultation from funeral directors, cemetery representatives, mental health professionals, estate planning attorneys, tax professionals, and clergy

Takes effect on the same date as the related 2025 chapter of laws (S. 4351-A and A. 3939-A) that originally established this guide requirement
