Requires healthcare providers to elect a payment type (credit card, virtual credit card, or electronic funds transfer) within 30 days of receiving notice from an insurer about associated fees

Mandates that if a provider fails to make a payment election within 30 days, the insurer must use the fee-free alternative payment method, unless the insurer lacks necessary information to process that payment

Exempts vendors used by providers to receive payments from the requirement that insurer-contracted payment processing vendors comply with the notice and election provisions

Prohibits contracts between insurers/health care plans and providers from containing waivers of the notice requirements regarding payment method fees

Amends the 2025 law on virtual credit cards to apply to contracts rather than policies, and takes effect on the same date as the underlying 2025 legislation
