Raises the mandatory retirement age for New York City Fire Department uniformed force members from 65 to 67 years old

Members who haven't completed 35 years of creditable city service by age 67 may continue serving until reaching that threshold, if capable of performing acceptable duty

Members facing mandatory retirement may request continuation for up to two years at a time with commissioner and board of estimate approval

Absolute maximum service age remains at 75 years old, with no extensions permitted beyond that age

Applies to transferred pension plan members under the same mandatory retirement provisions as other uniformed force members
