Establishes the War of 1812 Bicentennial Commission administratively housed within Northwest State Community College.

Commission shall study and recommend activities honoring Americans who served in Ohio during the War of 1812, educate residents about Ohio's role, and coordinate bicentennial events and celebrations.

Commission membership includes one House representative, one Senate member, the Adjutant General, Superintendent of Public Instruction, Director of Commerce, Chief of Division of Travel and Tourism, representatives from Northwest State Community College, the National Museum of Afro-American History and Culture, Ohio Humanities Council, Ohio Historical Society, a Native-American community member, and six additional Ohio residents appointed by the Governor.

Commission members serve without compensation but receive reimbursement for travel expenses; commission shall meet at least twice annually beginning no later than December 31, 2009.

Sections 149.32 and 149.321 automatically repeal on December 31, 2015, terminating the commission.
