Amends Ohio Revised Code sections 2903.13 (assault) and 2903.21 (aggravated menacing) to make these offenses felonies of the fifth degree when committed in a courthouse or any building containing a courtroom.

Assault committed in a courthouse becomes a fifth-degree felony rather than the standard first-degree misdemeanor or other applicable felony classifications.

Aggravated menacing committed in a courthouse becomes a fifth-degree felony rather than the standard first-degree misdemeanor or other applicable felony classifications.

Applies to offenses occurring in courthouses and other buildings or structures where courtrooms are located.

Maintains existing enhanced penalties for assault and aggravated menacing in other settings, such as against school employees, correctional facility employees, and peace officers.
