Designates the month of June as "Father's Month" in Ohio to increase public awareness of the critical role of fathers and pay tribute to them.

Establishes legislative findings that active father involvement contributes to children's emotional security and provides positive psychological and economic benefits for children, families, communities, and the state.

States that children with actively involved fathers show higher self-esteem, healthier social skills, and decreased rates of high-risk behavior, teen pregnancy, and drug and alcohol abuse.

Calls for all fathers to reinvest in providing emotional and financial support for their children and for society to promote involved, nurturing, and responsible fatherhood.
