Prohibits school districts, schools, conferences, and athletic regulatory organizations from disqualifying students based solely on transferring between schools when their resident district's athletics program ceases and resumes.

Applies to students who transferred out of their resident district after it ceased its entire interscholastic athletics program, then transferred back after the program resumed.

Prohibits imposing waiting periods, restricting which sports students may play, or establishing deadlines to transfer back to maintain athletic eligibility based on the transfer alone.

Allows athletic regulatory organizations to require students to apply for and receive verification of eligibility under this section before participation.

Allows schools to impose deadlines for students to apply or try out for particular sports in particular seasons, but prohibits deadlines for transferring back to the district generally.
