Amends Ohio Revised Code Section 2903.13 to add school security guards to the list of protected school employees in assault cases.

Assault against a school security guard now carries the same felony of the fifth degree penalty as assault against a school teacher or administrator when the offense occurs in a school, on school premises, in a school building, on a school bus, or while engaged in official duties.

Extends protection to school security guards during duties or responsibilities associated with their employment, including accompanying students at class trips, athletic events, and other school extracurricular activities outside school premises.

Changes the statute language from "or" to "," and adds "or a school security guard" to clarify that school security guards receive equal legal protection as school teachers and bus operators in assault cases.
