Requires individual and group health insuring corporation policies delivering basic health care services to cover colorectal cancer examinations and laboratory tests for individuals age 50 and older, and for those under 50 at high risk according to American Cancer Society guidelines.

Mandates sickness and accident insurance policies and public employee benefit plans to provide the same colorectal cancer screening benefits following American Cancer Society guidelines, subject to standard policy terms including copayments and deductibles.

Requires Medicaid coverage of colorectal cancer examinations and laboratory tests for nonsymptomatic recipients age 50 and older or those under 50 at high risk, contingent on federal approval of an amendment to the state Medicaid plan or a federal waiver.

For closed panel or in-network plans, limits coverage of required colorectal cancer screening benefits to services provided by participating or in-network providers.

Exempts from requirements hospital indemnity, Medicare supplement, TRICARE, long-term care, disability income, limited-duration, and supplemental-only policies, as well as policies covering specific diseases or accidents only.
