OH HB63

Enacts section 101.261 to authorize current members of the General Assembly to perform marriage ceremonies anywhere in Ohio.

Requires any fees collected for performing marriage ceremonies to be donated directly to a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization or foundation.

Specifies that fees collected and donated under this section do not violate ethics laws under sections 102.03, 102.04 of the Revised Code or Section 31 of Article II of the Ohio Constitution.

Amends section 3101.08 to add General Assembly members to the list of persons authorized to solemnize marriages, alongside ordained ministers, judges, mayors, and religious societies.
