Jackie Leppelmeier, a member of the Liberty-Benton High School indoor track and field team, won first place in the shot put at the 2010 Division III State Indoor Track and Field Championship with a throw of 43 feet, 2.5 inches.

Leppelmeier also placed second in the weight throw with a toss of 46 feet, 5 inches at the same 2010 Division III State Indoor Championship.

The Ohio House of Representatives applauds Leppelmeier for her athletic achievement, perseverance, and demonstration of courage, integrity, and good sportsmanship.

The Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Jackie Leppelmeier.
