Ohio House of Representatives honors Nancy L. Zimpher for her contributions during her six-year tenure as president of the University of Cincinnati.

Zimpher became UC's first female president in 2003 and increased research funding, attracted more prepared incoming students, and maintained high graduation and retention rates.

Zimpher is a successful author and co-founder of Strive who demonstrated dedication and professional competence throughout her career in higher education.

House applauds Zimpher as an outstanding Ohioan for her professional achievement and commitment to the University of Cincinnati.

Clerk of the House of Representatives will transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Nancy L. Zimpher.
