Eliminates the grandfather exemption in section 4703.18(H) that previously allowed corporations chartered before August 7, 1943, or lawfully providing architectural services before November 15, 1982, to operate without complying with Ohio's Architects Law requirements.

Maintains a limited exemption in section 4703.18(J) and (L) for corporations that were granted charters prior to August 7, 1943, or were lawfully providing architectural services prior to November 15, 1982, from the requirement that more than 50 percent of ownership be held by registered professional engineers, surveyors, architects, or landscape architects.

Requires all firms, partnerships, associations, limited liability companies, and corporations providing architectural services to file required information with the architects board and comply with sections 4703.01 to 4703.19 of the Revised Code, except nonprofit membership corporations.

Preserves existing contractual obligations in effect on the act's effective date but requires corporations to comply with amended requirements prior to renewing contracts.

Establishes legislative intent that the amendments are remedial and designed to protect public safety by ensuring providers of architectural services meet quality standards and have appropriate qualifications.
