Extends the deadline for state board adoption of science and social studies academic standards from June 30, 2010 to June 30, 2011, while maintaining the June 30, 2010 deadline for English language arts and mathematics standards.

Delays the model curriculum adoption deadline for science and social studies to March 31, 2012 (from the original deadline tied to standards completion), while keeping the March 31, 2011 deadline for English language arts and mathematics model curricula.

Moves financial literacy and entrepreneurship standards and model curricula development to occur after social studies standards are completed (rather than after all core standards), providing additional time for these subject areas.

Requires convening of national and state experts within 30 days after adopting the social studies and science model curricula to provide guidance on aligning standards, curricula, and assessments.

Makes technical corrections to references regarding the state board and Ohio board of regents throughout the affected sections of the Revised Code.
