Urges the President of the United States to direct the Department of Energy to grant USEC, Inc. a federal loan guarantee for its American Centrifuge Plant uranium enrichment project in Piketon, Ohio.

Notes that the Department of Energy has agreed to delay final review of USEC's loan guarantee application for at least six months to allow the company to meet technical and financial milestones and obtain independent engineering validation.

States that the project aligns with President Obama's energy security and climate change policy objectives and will demonstrate technological readiness for commercial operation.

Warns that denial of the loan guarantee would force USEC to demobilize the Piketon plant, resulting in approximately 2,000 job losses among USEC and contractor employees in Ohio and other states.

Directs the Senate Clerk to transmit copies of the resolution to the President, Department of Energy Secretary, Ohio Congressional delegation, Governor, Pike County Commissioners, and Ohio news media.
