Reaffirms Ohio's sister-state relationship with Taiwan Province of the Republic of China, established in 1985 through joint actions by then Ohio Director of Agriculture Dale Locker and Taiwan Governor Chiu Chuang-huan.

Recognizes Taiwan as the seventh largest export market for U.S. agricultural exports and fourth largest market for U.S. corn exports as of 2007, with Ohio's exports to Taiwan increasing from $301.45 million in 2007 to $412.15 million in 2008.

Supports ongoing cultural and educational exchanges between Ohio and Taiwan, including visits by legislative delegations, teacher exchanges in language and arts education, and programs during Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month and Taiwanese-American Heritage Week.

Acknowledges the Taiwanese community in Ohio's contributions to the state's economy and civic community, and supports Taiwan's participation in World Health Assembly activities and potential Free Trade Agreement with the United States.

Directs the Senate Clerk to transmit copies of the resolution to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Chicago, Taiwan's Governor, Ohio's Governor, and Ohio news media.
