Designates April 22, 2009, as Ohio Free Clinics Day in Ohio.

Recognizes that 2.8 million Ohioans under age 65 lacked health insurance during 2002-2003, with uninsured adult rates increasing from 11.5% to 12.5% between 1998 and 2004.

Notes the Ohio Association of Free Clinics had 37 member clinics by end of 2007, which served 43,000 uninsured and underinsured patients and provided over $7 in care for every $1 invested, utilizing more than 3,900 volunteers.

Calls for continued support of free clinics and their volunteer medical professionals who provide care to those unable to afford quality health care.

Directs the Senate Clerk to transmit copies of the resolution to the Ohio Association of Free Clinics and Ohio news media.
