Commends Nancy L. Zimpher for her exemplary service as president of the University of Cincinnati beginning in 2003.

Recognizes her prior roles at The Ohio State University and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and her involvement with organizations including the Coalition of Urban Serving Universities, National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges, and United Way of Greater Cincinnati.

Acknowledges her publications, awards including Prevent Blindness Ohio's People of Vision and the Association of Teacher Educators' Distinguished Research awards, and contributions to the University of Cincinnati's reputation.

Directs the Senate Clerk to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Nancy L. Zimpher and extends best wishes for her success as chancellor of the State University of New York.
