Requires the State Board of Emergency Medical Services to mail written notification to EMS personnel at least 60 days before their emergency medical services certifications expire.

Requires the board to mail written notification to firefighters at least 60 days before their fire training certificates expire.

Requires the board to annually mail fire training certificate expiration dates to the chief of each fire department in the state for all individuals providing fire-fighting services in that department.

Allows volunteer firefighters whose certificates expired due to unawareness of renewal requirements to reapply for certification under the same conditions as renewal applicants, effective for six months after the bill takes effect.
