Expands county facilities review board authority to inspect any facility where an adult ward of the probate court resides or receives services, regardless of whether the facility is privately or publicly funded.

Board members cannot be officially connected with any charitable or correctional institution supported by public funds or any facility where an adult probate court wards reside or receive probate court-approved services.

Requires county facilities review board to keep fully advised of the condition and management of facilities housing adult probate court wards through personal visitation or other means.

Board must visit each institution or facility at least once every three months and recommend changes to county commissioners and other responsible officials or persons.

Changes gender-specific pronouns to gender-neutral language in references to the probate court judge and board members.
