• Mandates that pharmacies provide contraceptive drugs and devices without delay when in stock, and if not in stock, must offer customers referrals to other pharmacies or expedited ordering options.

• Prohibits health insurance policies and public employee benefit plans from excluding or limiting coverage for prescription contraceptive drugs/devices or related physician-directed outpatient services if they cover other prescription drugs or outpatient services.

• Updates school health education requirements to include comprehensive sexual health education and HIV/AIDS prevention education that stress abstinence while also covering contraceptive methods and infection reduction measures.
