Makes the clerk of courts of Miami County the clerk of the Miami County Municipal Court, similar to existing arrangements for Montgomery County, Portage County, Wayne County, Hamilton County, and other counties.

Clerk of courts of Miami County receives compensation at one-fourth the rate prescribed for clerks of courts of common pleas as determined by county population and rates in sections 325.08 and 325.18 of the Revised Code, paid from county treasury in semimonthly installments in addition to regular clerk compensation.

Applies the same vacancy-filling procedures for the Miami County Municipal Court clerk as apply to other counties, requiring appointment by county central committee members if a vacancy occurs.

Declares the act an emergency measure effective immediately because there is currently no clerk of the Miami County Municipal Court to fulfill required duties under state law.
