HB 515 Summary

• Amends section 2909.21 to change the scope of terrorism-related definitions from sections 2909.21 to 2909.34 to sections 2909.21 to 2909.31

• Repeals the definition of "material assistance" (former division H) which previously included membership in terrorist organizations, solicitation activities, and fundraising for designated terrorist entities

• Removes the definition of "United States department of state terrorist exclusion list" and related references to terrorist organization designations

• Repeals sections 2909.32, 2909.33, and 2909.34 of the Revised Code in their entirety

• Removes requirements in section 5502.011 for the director of public safety to adopt rules related to declarations of material assistance/nonassistance questionnaires
