• Prohibits performing or inducing an abortion when the provider knows the pregnant woman is seeking the abortion because of the fetus's sex or gender, making violation a felony of the third degree.

• Prohibits coercing a pregnant woman to have an abortion because of the fetus's sex or gender through force or threats, and prohibits soliciting or accepting funds for sex-selection abortions.

• Establishes civil action rights allowing pregnant women, the father of the unborn child, parents of minor pregnant women, and the Attorney General to sue for compensatory and punitive damages, plus attorney's fees and court costs.

• Exempts the pregnant woman from criminal liability and civil suit for violations of the sex-selection abortion prohibition.

• Requires physicians, physician assistants, registered nurses, counselors, and medical or mental health professionals to report known or suspected violations to law enforcement, making failure to report a felony of the fifth degree.
