Recognizes March 2012 as Women's History Month in Ohio by the 129th General Assembly.

Acknowledges that the Education Task Force of the Sonoma County Commission on the Status of Women initiated Women's History Week in California in 1978, which the U.S. Congress designated as National Women's History Week in 1981 and expanded to National Women's History Month in 1987.

Highlights the historic contributions of American women of all races, classes, and ethnic backgrounds to social progress including suffrage, civil rights, labor, abolitionist, emancipation, and peace movements.

Notes that women's roles in American history have been consistently overlooked and undervalued despite their major contributions to social change.

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to transmit authenticated copies of the resolution to Ohio news media.
