Urges Congress to enact S. 2317, the Stop Invasive Species Act of 2012, to address the spread of aquatic invasive species in the Great Lakes.

Over 180 aquatic invasive species have been introduced into the Great Lakes, with the Chicago Area Waterway System serving as a potential pathway for their introduction and movement.

Requires the Secretary of the Army to complete the Great Lakes Mississippi River Interbasin Study within 18 months of enactment to evaluate options for preventing aquatic nuisance species spread between the Great Lakes and Mississippi River basins.

Directs the House Clerk to transmit authenticated copies of the resolution to the Secretary of the Army, Congress leadership, Ohio's congressional delegation, and Ohio news media.
