Proposes to amend Section 6 of Article IV of the Ohio Constitution to raise the mandatory retirement age for judges from 70 to 75 years old, changing the restriction from judges who have "attained" age 70 to those who have "exceeded" age 75.

Repeals Sections 19 and 22 of Article IV of the Ohio Constitution, eliminating the General Assembly's authority to establish courts of conciliation and to reappoint a Supreme Court commission.

Applies the new judicial age requirement to the election or appointment date when an office is to be filled, rather than the date a judge assumes office.

Submitted to Ohio voters for approval at the general election held on November 8, 2011, requiring a simple majority vote for adoption.

Includes technical amendments to replace gender-specific language (he, his) with gender-neutral language (the retired judge) without making substantive changes to the Constitution.
