Ohio General Assembly applies for a constitutional amendments convention under Article V to propose an amendment requiring federal debt increases to be approved by a majority of state legislatures

The amendments convention shall be limited exclusively to the single subject of the federal debt approval amendment

This application constitutes a continuing application that remains in effect until at least two-thirds of state legislatures apply for an equivalently limited amendments convention

House Clerk shall transmit authenticated copies of the resolution to the U.S. Senate President, House Speaker, Ohio's congressional delegation, and presiding officers of all state legislatures requesting their cooperation
