Canen Smith, a senior at Clay High School, won the 2011 Division I-II-III State Powerlifting Championship in the 155-pound weight class.

Smith achieved a combined total of 1,170 pounds, consisting of a 455-pound squat, 260-pound bench press, and 455-pound deadlift.

The House of Representatives of Ohio's 129th General Assembly commends Smith for his dedication, sportsmanship, and leadership both in and out of athletic competition.

The Clerk of the House is directed to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Canen Smith.
