Wright State University was named to the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll with Distinction, one of 110 universities in the country receiving this federal recognition.

During the 2010-2011 school year, WSU coordinated 12,414 students who performed 417,938 hours of community service through programs including the Friendship Food Pantry, STEPP, and Horizons in Medicine.

WSU partnered with Westwood PreK-8 School and the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Association to support service learning initiatives.

The Ohio House of Representatives applauds Wright State University's contributions to the Dayton community and its positive impact on the region.

The House Clerk is directed to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Wright State University.
