Oakwood High School Academic Decathlon team won the 2012 Ohio Academic Decathlon State Competition in the medium school division and overall.

Team members Wilson Mullen, Heather Brooks, Primrose Mangilog, Cliff Goertemiller, Herbert Sizek, Colleen Noonan, Nathan Gibbs, Caleb Kell, and Jack Bachmann, with 11 alternates, also won the Super Quiz Oral Relay and qualified for United States Academic Decathlon Nationals.

Coaches Lori Morris and Britt Platt led the team through extensive practice and preparation, developing students' individual abilities and knowledge.

House of Representatives applauds the team for outstanding achievement and recognizes members and coaches as exemplary Ohio citizens.

Clerk of the House will transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to the Oakwood High School Academic Decathlon team.
