Ohio House of Representatives commends C.J. Smith, a second-grade student at Pleasant Elementary School, for winning the Division II State Wrestling Championship in the 62-pound weight class of the 7-8 year-old category at the OURWAY State Tournament in 2012.

Resolution recognizes Smith's dedication, talent, competitive spirit, and sportsmanship as an exceptional young athlete who has earned respect and esteem from his family, teammates, coaches, school, and community.

House acknowledges that athletic competition plays an important role in the education and development of young people, and that Smith's wrestling participation will aid him in meeting future challenges.

Clerk of the House of Representatives directed to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to C.J. Smith.
